Social Distancing is fun. I get to stay home every day, watch The Little Mermaid on Disney+, order Starbucks from Uber Eats, and workout to Chloe Ting's Shred Challenge. However, Aria, my two-year-old niece, has forbidden me from singing along to Part of Your World. Starbucks keeps delivering to the wrong address, and I'm convinced Chloe Ting's videos are a means of torturing me for enjoying too many shrimp burritos. The highlight is that for the first time ever, I'll finally have a rocking summer body...to enjoy at home. As I write this, my eyes are tearing up because I rubbed them after slicing orange habanero peppers.
Now, enjoy some of my poignant melancholic literature choices and comically self-deprecating short narratives. While I fulfill my writing remedy, a venture filled with blind optimism but morbid expectations, endure my fashion faux-pas, and some perilously naive life choices. Now I must go, as tears trickle down my cheeks, and my nose gets watery from the pungent habanero pepper fragrance. Barring you've magically made it this far, I bequeath you a blow kiss and welcome to The Bittersweet Angle.
